Specifying a Category using the Postie Plugin

Mobile blogging using WordPress as the sole solution is fine provided you can live with the limitations.

If all you want to do is file your posts in your selected default category that’s fine, but I’m guessing there’ll come a day when this’ll get really annoying.

The answer is to install the Postie plugin. Now you state which category to file the post under - problem solved.

Take this post, for example. My default category is General, but I want to file the post under WordPress. Simple. Put another category at the beginning of the subject line and Postie will put the post in the appropriate category.
